Monochrome Madness: Kite Flying in Tiergarten

My image for Monochrome Madness this week is one I took in Tiergarten in Berlin. I saw this guy flying his kite and  wanted to get a good picture of it. Unfortunately the sky was too bright and I didn't have my filters, but converting to black and white works for it, I think.

This is my monochrome madness photo this week. This is my favourite image I took of this fox in Prince-Edward-Island National Park and I think it has a great tonal range for conversion to black and white.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Between

This week's challenge theme is Between. For this challenge I selected this image I took of the Confederation bridge which links the province of Prince-Edward-Island to mainland Canada across the Northumberland Straight. The bridge was completed in 1997 and is Canada's longest bridge, spanning over 12 kilometres.
