Atlantic Canada Road Trip: Hopewell Rocks

Hopewell Shore Muddy Shoes Hopewell Statues Flower Pot Flower Pot Rocks

The next stop on our trip across the maritime provinces was at Hopewell Cape to visit the “Flower Pot Rocks.” Carved by the incredible force of the Fundy tides, these rocks are one of the most recognizable sights in all of Canada.
Due to the bad weather, the beach was very muddy and our dirty shoes even caught the attention of a local journalist who was photographing the rocks for a piece in the town’s newspaper. On the surrounding beach you can find all kinds of interesting rock formations, some natural and some built by visitors. I included a picture of the Rocks with people around it for scale.
