Red Fox in PEI National Park

As a nature lover, Prince-Edward-Island National Park was definitely the highlight of the small province. Situated on the northern shore of the island, the national park boasts beautiful white-sand beaches along theΒ Gulf of Saint Lawrence, large sand dunes, and a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered piping plover who nest on the park’s beaches every spring. Our closest encounter with wildlife however, was when we returned to our parked car to find this little red fox inspecting the vehicle. I was able to get a few good shots before it got bored of us and ran off.
